Greg Funderburk is a pastoral care minister, a lawyer, and a writer. As a lawyer he has crafted arguments for those in need of a defense following episodes of chaos, error, and disaster. His writings range from essays to poetry, from eulogies to short stories and fiction. His words are treasured by families who hear poetic, soulful words to remember loved ones, as he presents the essence of their lives in memorial services, comforting them with words of redemption and hope. He is a graduate of Baylor University (Phi Beta Kappa) and the University of Texas School of Law. He practiced law for more than 20 years, specializing in civil litigation. Greg is currently the Minister for Pastoral Care at South Main Baptist Church in Houston, Texas.
