Lynwood Cash

Lynwood CashLynwood G. Cash has lived his entire life in the Northeast Georgia Mountains, except for the time he served his country with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.

Upon retirement, Lyn became a member of The Sons of the American Revolution, and is very active with historical organizations. He is passionate about his participation in a “traveling trunk” living history program, educating fourth grade elementary students about Colonial life and the Revolutionary War.

Lyn wrote the poem, Sons of Liberty, on July 4th, 2012, and it received its first public reading at a Sons of the American Revolution event shortly thereafter.
