Corin Cooper, currently in sixth grade, writes “I like to play music because of the sound and because of the movements of my hands. I play the piano–for about three years now–and my brother plays the guitar and trombone that inspired me to write about them. I’ve travelled to different places (New Zealand, Australia, Finland, Sweden, France and England) and heard different types of music. I also sing in a choir and I really like it. I really hope to write more poems and songs.”
