A fun gospel song, with independent lines, two key changes, and lots of repetition. Many bluegrass groups have sung this as an audience participation piece, as it has an easy, catchy tune. The melody is sometimes doubled, and the choir should bring out the melody while other countermelodies are going on around it. The more religious references are absent, so it is likely fine for public school concerts. Have fun with this old gospel song!
