This hymn arrangement is based on the biblical parable of the “lost sheep” The Ninety and Nine is an old hymn that uses this parable to describe the value of our souls to God. The shepherd had a hundred sheep, and one was lost. However, that one sheep was important enough to seek for hours on the hillside. We are all important human beings to God. As you listen to this arrangement, you might think, “Film Scoring.” The drama unfolds through the use of varied tempi, lyrics, and chord progressions.
