The familiar tune of “America” (“My Country ‘Tis of Thee”) is arranged using the phrase “Let Freedom Ring” as the connector between verses, etc. The last verse is “Let music swell the breeze…” sung broadly to celebrate the freedom of artistic expression through music. In support of my belief that everyone should sing heartily in soulful expression (“let all that breathe partake”), the audience sings all three verses with the choir. Your audience/congregation will love it, as they join to celebrate our country and the art of music.
