On March 11, 2011, the people of Japan experienced one of the worst disasters in the history of the world, a huge earthquake, followed by a tsunami. Both of these events resulted in tremendous loss of life, and the aftermath was one of horrible devastation. Wanetta Hill’s son, Nathanael, is a resident of Japan, and lives there with his family. This piece is literally translated, Kibo … “Come, hope.” The beautiful people of Japan were not forgotten during those days of struggle and sorrow.
