A fresh account of the journey to the nativity (with modifications to support Biblical information) uses Sara Teasdale’s poetry as the idea base in this setting. In an attempt to include other important participants in that holy night, the shepherds and the angels are present as well. Come journey with the wise men to Bethlehem as they travel to see the significance of “the star.” The use of oboe, countermelodies, unison, homophony, and imitation bring unity and energy to the journey.
