This SATB a cappella arrangement was inspired by all those who worked to give women the right to vote; Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Lucretia Mott, and others. These courageous women suffered imprisonment, abuse, and other forms of persecution in their efforts. I was reminded of their sacrifice in 2012 and the “voting booth” became a shrine. A strong soloist will enhance the powerful performance.
