Kyrie (from Missa Brevis Sancti Joannis de Deo) by Haydn
This outstanding arrangement of a chorus from Haydn's The Creation features a simplified accompaniment, and is in a lower key (one step lower than the original). Attention has been given to creating voice-leading that avoids excessively large intervals, but retains the integrity of the work. Students will have great success learning this challenging composition.
