Earlene Rentz has arranged this spiritual, using vocal imitation, piano, optional hand drum, and claves as accompaniment.  Interwoven into the fabric arrangement is an original melody for the familiar This Little Light of Mine, appearing in a minor key.  This piece is a good exercise in singing thirds and sixths, and in learning syncopation.  The men are allowed to sing the melody at one point, accompanied by thirds in the women’s voices.
