Earlene Rentz creates an outstanding concert/festival opener or closer with a Baroque feel.  The “springboard effect” of the dotted rhythms and 6/8 time signature creates a fresh sound that includes piano and brass accompaniment.  The use of two trumpets and two trombones (optional) with the piano imitate each other at times in the increasing intensity of a joyful dance of song.  Celebratory and strong!
