Two tunes are combined for a strong, bold anthem of grace and love.  The KINGSFOLD tune and an English melody are the melodic elements presented in this solid presentation two familiar texts.  The traditional “Amazing Grace” text of John Newton combined with the Charles Wesley text refrain of “And Can It Be That I Should Gain.”  Earlene uses a small amount of original material, canons, unison, countermelodies, and open harmonic sounds (particularly the fifth).  Your choir members will enjoy singing about love and grace with gusto and strength.
