This setting of the traditional Latin text moves through several melodic developments before leading into a Dona nobis pacem section. The “Agnus Dei” theme returns with subtle harmonic changes, culminating in an ending of quiet splendor.  Wonderful for teaching phrase performance through syllabic inflection in the text.
